Dylan Cramer
Band Director

Mr. Cramer is in his seventh year teaching and his fifth year with Owen Valley. He graduated from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio with a degree in music education in 2016. Mr. Cramer is a trumpet player by trade but loves to play horn as well.

Mr. Cramer graduated from Lakota West High School in West Chester, OH and participated in symphonic band, jazz band, and pep band. He currently lives in Ellettsville, IN with his wife Shayla.

Matt Harvey
Assistant Band Director

Mr. Harvey is a native of Greenwood, Indiana and a 2018 graduate of Indiana State University. He joined Owen Valley in 2023 and previously worked at Clay City Jr/Sr High School. Mr. Harvey specializes in woodwinds and his primary instrument is saxophone. ​

Cassie Simmons is a class of 2021 graduate of Owen Valley High School. After graduating at OV, Cassie went on to be Guard Captain at Indiana State where she graduated with a degree in Human Development and Family Science, with minors in Dance and Counseling. 

Cassie has spent time as both a tech and Assistant Guard Director at Owen Valley. She was also a "Phantomette" during the 2024 DCI season with Phantom Regiment
